What is so special about the Green Peel® comfort herbal peeling treatment?

The Green Peel® comfort herbal peeling treatment is a purely biologically-based product. Contrary to other peeling products, GREEN PEEL® contains no chemical, often harmful substances or synthetic peeling agents. If any of the herbs should get in the eyes of the customer, they will not cause any burning or tearing. After only 5 days visible and evaluable treatment results are noticeable.

How does the herbal peeling treatment work without any chemical substances?

During the special massage with the herbal mixture, micro-particles of the herbs gently smooth away the outermost layers of the skin. This enhances the circulation and metabolism of the skin and boosts the oxygen supply to the individual cells. Three days later the skin begins to peel. The natural active substances in the herbs support the normalising and regeneration processes of the skin.

How is Green Peel® comfort applied?

Before beginning with the treatment, a thorough skin analysis should be carried out and the customer’s treatment goals should be discussed. A specially-developed questionnaire helps to preclude any contraindications and at the same time familiarises the customer with the Green Peel® treatment procedure.

It is advisable to take "before-and-after" photos of your customer to document the success of the treatment convincingly.

After cleansing the skin with special cleansing products that are compatible with the herbs, the peeling process begins. The herbal mixture is massaged into the upper layers of the skin with a special circular massage. The duration and pressure level of the massage will influence the intensity of the desired peeling effect.

How does the skin look after the treatment?

Right after the peeling treatment, the skin will be flushed and a slight burning sensation similar to a slight sunburn can be felt. Over the next few days the customer should use only skincare products that are specially formulated for caring for the skin as it heals. These products also support the peeling process and protect the skin against moisture loss and harmful environmental influences. Between day 3 and day 5 after the treatment, the “old” skin normally begins to loosen and peel off by itself. Until then the customer can go about her daily business without interruption.

What additional care does the skin require after a Green Peel® comfort treatment?

After about 5 days the customer must return to the salon for an exclusive follow-up treatment with active ingredients. This is important as the cosmetician “feeds” the new, particularly permeable “new skin” with valuable active ingredients. To protect the new, delicate skin from harmful environmental factors and stress, for the next 6-8 weeks after the follow-up treatment the customer must protect her skin with a multifunctional skincare cream with SPF 20. The customer must also be advised about the recommended supporting measures and suitable skincare products to use, in particular with regards to anti-aging products and acne treatment. At this point the customer should also be informed about the next steps of the peeling treatment, as an additional peeling could be necessary, depending on the skin condition being treated, in order to achieve the desired result. The Green Peel® comfort method can be repeated several times without any harmful side effects, or as a preventative measure it can be carried out 1-2 times a year in the salon booth.
